MARSHALL'S HOUSE

Out of my window I see a gold course, while my Grandma
is standing next to me.
I see old men playing a game of golf.
To my left I see many houses.
Rows and rows of beautifully built, brand new houses, soon to be lived in.
Today I didn't see my grandma looking out of the window with me,
and that was very different.
She was always there, pointing out the way the moon looked.
I also see many new blooming trees.
Reminding me it is finally time for spring.
In the distance I see new houses being built, new homes,
that will soon be lived in,
filled with tender, love and care,
just like Marshall's house.

  1. This reminds me of looking at the stars with my grandpa: "She was always there, pointing out the way the moon looked."
